Coach Mike McCarthy classified the injury as a sprain after the game.
Analysis: Clifton spent several minutes on the ground in obvious pain after a 1-yard run by Ryan Grant on the Packers' first offensive play of the second half. Clifton was helped up, but didn't put his right foot on the ground or any weight on the leg as trainers waved for the cart. Clifton has spent all 10 of his NFL seasons with the Packers, missing only one start last season and one in 2006. |
